This part-time, remote position provides essential financial management and administrative support that strengthens the ministries of our synod. Working closely with the Administrative Assistant to the Bishop and the Synod Treasurer, the Financial Manager will oversee accounting, payroll, and financial reporting with accuracy and transparency.
We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of integrity, organizational skill, and a commitment to the mission and values of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Experience with nonprofit or fund accounting is preferred.

Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church-Appleton is looking for a talented individual with a passion for audiovisual technology and a heart for worship to join our team and help us deliver an engaging and impactful worship experience for both our in-person and online audiences. This is a shared responsibility needed on periodic Sunday mornings.
The responsibilities for this role include preparing, launching, and managing the broadcast of our worship service. This involves placing cameras in the sanctuary and connecting them to the main switcher, as well as creating new or managing existing broadcast configurations. We are installing state-of-the-art equipment soon.
During the live broadcast service, you will be responsible for framing speakers and other content by managing the active video input and utilizing appropriate graphic overlays. This will ensure that our online audience has a compelling and comfortable experience. Additionally, you will monitor audio levels throughout the service, making individual adjustments as needed to ensure all inputs are comfortably audible and balanced for both the in-person and online audiences.
Simultaneously, you are responsible for accurately advancing the PowerPoint presentation for both in-person and online viewers to correspond with the text, lyrics, or scripture as they are spoken. This helps convey the current section of the worship service seamlessly.
