June 5th-15th, 2013 - "Greece & Turkey: In The Footsteps Of St. Paul"
TRAVEL IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ST. PAUL is a "trip of a lifetime" and "something that I've always wanted to do." These are only some of the expressions used to describe a trip following in the footsteps of St. Paul. St. Paul's missionary journeys took him to great distances. From Syria through Turkey, and along the Greek coast, as he spread the good news in rich trading centers on his prayerful missions.
Pastor Jeff and Barb Tengesdal (First English Lutheran Church, Appleton) are leading an 11-day tour through Greece, which includes a 4-day cruise to the Greek islands, Patmos, and Ephesus (Turkey). This spiritual journey will give travelers a new perspective on the Church, as they learn about its earliest days and the lives of the first Christians.

June 23rd - July 21st, 2013 - "The Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival (LSM)" at the campus of Luther College in Decorah, IA
The Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival (LSM) is a four-week musical training program for gifted high school musicians. The LSM 2013 will be held on the campus of Luther College in Decorah, IA, June 23 through July 21, where more than 150 students in grades 8-12 will live together in a supportive community focused on musical excellence, faith formation, and personal growth.
